About Carolina Gutierrez RSSW, CH. experienced and compassionate Brampton therapist.

I am a Registered Social Service Worker and Hypnotherapist with over 20 years of private practice experience. My journey into this field was shaped by my own challenges within a mental health system that often overlooked the complexity of individual needs. As a compassionate Brampton Therapist, this perspective allows me to approach therapy with both professional expertise and the lived understanding of someone who has walked the path of healing.

My practice integrates mental health and spirituality, grounded in the belief that intuition is a vital resource in the therapeutic process. I draw from the ancestral wisdom of curanderismo, rooted in my Latin American heritage, as well as formal training in social work and extensive clinical practice. This combination offers a trauma-informed approach for clients who may not find resonance in traditional models of mental health support.

In our work together, my intention is to create a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space where growth, healing, and deeper self-understanding can emerge.

acceptance

Acknowledging the relaity of the situation as is - the good and the not so good, without judging ourselves.

peace

Understanding the stability of Living in harmony both with others, but most importantly, yourself.

My Approach

I offer culturally informed mental health support. In my work with clients, I take a collaborative and holistic approach, meeting each person where they are with compassion and respect. My focus areas come from lived experience, where I can combine a peer support approach with intuition and compassion.

Sessions often weave together traditional therapeutic methods with intuitive and spiritual practices, allowing space for both evidence-based tools and inner wisdom to guide the process. I integrate elements of hypnotherapy, mindfulness, and somatic awareness with the ancestral healing practices of curanderismo, always adapting to the unique needs of the individual. My role is not to prescribe answers, but to support clients in uncovering their own clarity, resilience, and capacity for transformation.
